My favorite books to read overall come from the YA section and my favorite genre is contemporary. I also love dystopian novels, but I’m a bit pickier with those so they have to be great! If I had to pick one genre that I shied away from, it would be fantasy. That doesn’t mean I hate all fantasy books and won’t read them (in fact, I’m sure there are amazing fantasy books out there that I would fall in love with and put on my favorites list), but it is very dependent on the plot.
